Venture Into the Mystery of Firewatch
Total isolation in a secluded fire tower? You got this.
Imagine breathtaking views of the Wyoming wilderness—and the sense of isolation that comes with leaving everything you know behind to protect a majestic forest. Firewatch captures this perfectly with its gorgeous visuals and dialogue-focused gameplay. In this often eerie mystery, a new career and way of life quickly unravel into an unforgettable, haunting adventure.

Firewatch takes place from a first-person perspective, but it isn’t combat-focused. Instead, you investigate woodlands and campsites as a fire lookout, chatting with your supervisor over walkie-talkie.
In these one-on-one conversations, how you answer her questions—if you choose to answer at all—alters your relationship and ultimately the course of the game. These over-the-air talks, by the way, are the only human contact you have.

The landscapes you see throughout were based on the Shoshone National Forest, re-created with a visual style reminiscent of classic National Park Service advertisements. The muted color palette gives the game its trademark look.
When you’ve completed the game’s Story mode, explore the gorgeous world developer Campo Santo has meticulously created in Free Roam mode. And see if you aren’t inspired to spend your next vacation in the wilds of Wyoming.
